Making things non-representational was hard. It was challenging to NOT make something look like something that already existed. I kept asking my friends, "what does this look like?" They would all answer with something random and that was exactly what I was going for. Using only a few different materials was hard too. I kept wanting to use ones that weren't on the list, but I couldn't.
